Hey guys! Today I was in school and we had a socratic seminar with my class. It was really fun and we got to discuss several different topics, one of them being about whether or not we thought that famous people in our history made the right choices or not. When this topic came up, I thought of Jesus. He did what he deemed right, but what the law determined as sin and unjustice. Through this I am learning to be more about being true to who I am and listening to God for instructions and advice.

So, this is the first time I’ve checked in here to see what you've been up to. You're posts are awesome. It's very clear you are making the most of this time away from the secular distractions of the world! I love that you are digging into your bible and finding new meaning and relevance for your life. I like to think of the bible as God’s love letter to us. The more of it I read and seek to understand, the more I fall in love with Christ and God’s gift of salvation. My prayer now is that closeness you have found with Him and the habits you have formed will remain even after this fast is over. Your journey is continuing to encourage our family!
